My contributions

Climate Commander

The Climate based educational game that allows players to respond and react to real life problems. This NASA initiated project is fully playable! 

As  Art Director for this project, I set and ensured a cohesive interface, overall design aesthetic, and organized a small team of artists to create the final project. 

 

From 3D modeling, rigging, particles, shading, illustrations, UI, UX, the list goes on, I was in control of assembling the team and assets for the final project. 

 

This game won 2nd place in Virginia Commonwealth University's Engineering Senior Capstone Expo Competition.  


My role on the game Climate Commander included organization and collaboration with multiple artists, as well as with coders. Problem solving and presentations that described the look of the game was crucial. With paint-overs I was able to describe the look of the game and create and place together levels in the Unreal Engine 4. 

Alongside level design and layouts, keeping the themes and aesthetic of the game harmonious required a strict color pallet. With my background as a graphic designer I was able to establish and create the UI and layout for the game.
